Faculty

The selection of Warren National faculty members is based not only on outstanding academic performance and honors, but equally on their "hands-on" experience in the business world. As a result of this balance, the Warren National Faculty member can relate more effectively with adult students, and by utilizing our faculty's real-world experience in curriculum development we can provide students with curricula and course materials applicable to their given field. Warren National faculty members help ensure that our curricula are rigorous and current. They play a critical role in course development, and often support the creation of new courses based on their experience in the industry or on classes they teach at other universities. Warren National faculty members are responsible for textbook selection and often use the same textbooks that they use at their traditional universities. The curricula they are responsible for includes learning objects, such as case studies, PowerPoint presentations, lectures, and problem sets which support and enhance the courses.

Expanded Academic Activities

The University utilizes a Faculty Council consisting of adjunct faculty members from around the U.S. Together, these educators form a unique academic team that unites professional intellect and academic experience to facilitate concentrated research efforts for the University. Ongoing projects currently in progress include curricula review, course enhancements and research of innovative educational technology options. Warren National faculty members are also frequently asked to review textbooks for publishers and attend conferences to conduct presentations on best practices at universities throughout the U.S. By utilizing the expertise of our adjunct faculty, the University is able to further its mission to bring traditional academic quality to an online educational environment.
