School of Business

The School of Business Administration at Warren National University provides students with a theoretical and practical background in social responsibility, effective leadership, and the utilization of specialized management tools and techniques. From the basics of business administration, including communicating in the corporate world, to promoting products utilizing marketing principles, economic theories and effective forecasting, students learn the important role of the business manager. High-level management strategy is introduced through courses encompassing critical planning, design and organization, through and including the implementation phases of processes and programs, to promote local, regional and global businesses in the world today.

 


Outcomes - School of Business

The following outcomes are to be met by students earning a degree within the School of Business. Upon graduation, students will be able to:

Bachelor of Science Degree

The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration program within the School of Business at Warren National University offers students concentrations in the areas of Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Management and Leadership, Management of Technology, and Marketing. Students who are professionals in the business field will learn specific business and management methodologies and toolsets together with basic practical considerations and applications. Topical areas selected by students to enhance capabilities and improve career potential range from an introduction to the business environment to social responsibility and effective leadership. The following outcomes are to be met by students earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Students, upon graduation, will be able to:

  • Demonstrate competency in all areas specified under general education
  • Apply organizational behavior principles at the individual, group, inter-group and organizational levels
  • Translate modern marketing concepts to product planning, pricing, promotiona and placement
  • Describe the role of business in a soceitial context from a managerial perspective by addressing the economic, social, political, legal and technological factors that affect businesses

  • Apply decision-making and problem solving skills in the business environment
  • Assimilate course work and life experience into a culminating activity

Master of Science Degree

The Master of Science degree in Business Administration program within the School of Business at Warren National University offers students concentrations in the areas of Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Management and Leadership, Management of Technology, and Engineering Management. It provides exposure to those mid-career professionals with a firm grasp of business fundamentals, who wish to advance themselves in their current work, transition to a new challenge, or simply increase their knowledge in their specific areas. It assumes the fundamentals of business and management skills are already familiar to the student, and builds upon that knowledge to add form to the structure. The following outcomes are to be met by students earning a Master of Science degree in the School of Business. Students, upod graduation, will be able to:

  • Identify techniques to create positive organizational bahavior, change and performance
  • Analyze interval and external data to make sound financial and managerial decisions
  • Explain marketing program development and design
  • Employ contemporary tools, techniques, and skills in computer technologies, models or simulations to improve business decision making
  • Identify ethical standards expected of a business professional
  • Integrate coursework and life experience into a research project resulting in a complted theses

Doctor of Business Administration

The Doctor of Business Administration degree program within the School of Business at Warren National University orients itself toward those students with potential for senior management. High-level management strategy courses are offered with opportunities for students to learn skills in planning, designing, organizing through to implementation in such areas as finance, information systems, and project and systems management, to name a few. Strategies of business policies as well as the legal, ethical, and regulatory environments of the business world will be reviewed. The following outcomes are to be met by students earning a Doctor of Business Administration at Warren National University in the School of Business. Students, upon graduation, will be able to:
